Mostschenke Zum Hoangarten

The Mostschenke "Zum Hoangarten" is housed in a 300-year-old farmhouse. The farm is not far from the Attersee in the middle of orchards. Somewhat hidden behind the Reiterhof Mayr you will find us in Palmsdorf.

The Mostschenke is run as a family business by senior chef Eckhart Kaltenböck, responsible for the excellent cider and his two sons Volkher and Herwig of their sign responsible for the beer specialties.

Locals and vacation guests from the region Attersee and Attergau, but also cyclists - in the immediate vicinity leads past the Roman bike path appreciate our unique location. In summer you can relax in the quiet garden with old trees and enjoy the wonderful view of Lake Attersee and the Hell Mountains opposite.

In order to express this pleasure, it is also advisable to keep an eye on the physical well-being.

And so we spoil our guests with freshly prepared specialties from our own production.
This includes not only the must which our senior chef monitors with a strict eye during the fermentation process, but also the beer specialties from our own brewery and the homemade apple and elderberry juices.

Our popular Hoangarten snack with roast pork, three different types of smoked pork, various spreads and cheese provide a real treat for the palate. For vegetarians we offer a rich cheese platter, various sandwiches and of course our home-baked farmhouse bread which is served with every kind of snack.
 
Something sweet may not be missing of course!
An insider tip are the Pofesen prepared with devotion of our senior boss. Depending on the season, we also serve various other pastries in addition to fruit cakes.
 
On special request, we are happy to arrange a Hoangarten buffet for 20 people or more.

Our little guests are of course also very welcome.
