The water of the lake in drinking water quality, which also helps the flora and fauna in and around the lake to their splendor - also invites you to swim and bath. As a moor lake, the Spechtensee has a more than pleasant water temperature for almost the entire bathing season. This is also appreciated by the magnificent water lilies.
The length of the lake is about 250 meters and its maximum width is about 150 meters, the area is about three hectares. It is between eight and eleven meters deep.
