Fishing at lake Hintersee

The 1.5km long and 700m wide "Hintersee" is situated in the middle of the "Osterhorngruppe"
You'll find brook trout, lake trout, lake char, grayling, rainbow trout, oerch, rud, bullhead, mnnow an roach in the Hintersee.

Permissible bait and equipment:
Per person there are only 2 fishing rods allowed. (Children under 12 years are allowed to fish with a person older than 18 and it's own fishing rod. The fishing of the child counts to the adults)

spoons, bait fish, maggots, dough, corn, artifivial lures, flies and 1 rod with 5 hooks.
All different kind of worms are forbidden!


Catch limit:
4 salmonids
for all other kind of fish there is no catch limit

The fishing season for day- and week fishing licences starts at 1st of April till 30th of September
Time for fishing from sunrise till sunset
